Water Manipulation
WATER MANIPULATION & REHYDRATION FINALLY EXPLAINED
Okay, there is an appropriate protocol to follow when cutting water (losing weight from water). This goes way beyond stopping your intake of salt and getting in the sauna with a sauna suit on and going crazy trying to lose 10-15 pounds last minute which if you are doing this you are probably lost about rehydration also so I will make this process a simple one for you to understand. First thing first understand that you lose more water in humid conditions than without so a sauna would be your last resort, hot bath submerging only exposing from the chin up would be next or a steam room with albolene rubbed on your skin under the sauna suit to sweat even more depending on what you can tolerate will be completely up to you.
*IT IS VITAL THAT AT LEAST ONE INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPANY YOU THROUGH THIS PROCESS AT ALL TIMES!!!!
Your going to fill up a tub hot enough to your toleration point but doesn’t burn you and is slightly uncomfortable. Your going to put on some compression shorts and a light top or no top at all. Submerge yourself all the way to your chin and just your head is poking out.
YOU WILL STAY IN THE TUB FOR 15-20 MINUTES
AND 10-15 MINUTES OUT OF THE TUB.
DRAIN AND RUN THE WATER AGAIN DURING THAT 10-15 MINUTES OUT. THIS PROCESS CAN BE REPEATED AN HOUR A SESSION MULTIPLE TIMES OF THE DAY. YOU LOSE THE MOST WATER THIS WAY. LIKE I SAID, YOU LOSE THE MOST WATER IN HUMID CONDITIONS.
15-20 minutes in the steam room 5-10 minutes out of the steam room. Rub Alboline on skin to provoke more sweat. You will have your sauna suit on pants and top.
*YOU CAN DO THIS FOR AN HOUR SESSION OR TWO SESSIONS IN A DAY BROKEN UP AT DIFFERENT TIMES. MORNING/EVENING
Apply alboline on your body but not private parts and then place sauna suit on. You will then go in the sauna for 15-20 minutes and out the sauna for 10-15 minutes.
*YOU CAN DO THIS FOR AN HOUR SESSION OR TWO SESSIONS IN A DAY BROKEN UP AT DIFFERENT TIMES. MORNING/EVENING

Scenario Example:
Its the last week leading up to your event which takes place on Saturday at 8 AM.
The very first thing to understand at this point is that it’s all about water weight not body fat so it’s less about your micronutrient ratio and strictly just staying within your calorie intake and all of those calories will come from protein and fat because carbohydrates hold water.
Within this week there are no carbs unless its a negative calorie food like lettuce, celery, kelp, etc
(takes more calories to digest than the calories that it holds and for every gram of fiber blocks a few calories from absorbing also)
No salt other than the low sodium content thats already in the food your eating without any added table salt for 7 days. Exceptions only to bodybuilders you would slowly start consuming small dehydrated salty carbohydrates like pringles or salty pretzel sticks starting about 3-4 hours before the show slowly as your guaging how you look while pumping up and once your muscles look full when pumping up you can stop the consumption until your done with your show.
You would start the process a week out on Saturday at around 5 AM. Now this would be the only time I would tell you to drink 32 ounces a hour (on a everyday basis you would not do this it would be completely unhealthy and will cause big health complications that is why this is only for a week.)
First off your water is going to change to distilled for the week which draws sodium and other electrolytes as well out of your body. You will replace these electrolytes as optimally as you can afterwards during your rehydration phase.
Saturday at 5AM:
Drink 32 oz every hour until you get 2.5 gallons of water down, now you can space it out more if you want but Im giving you time to urinate the water out and for it not to interfere with your sleep later in the day.
This allows your body hormone that’s responsible for holding water to release water because your body has an abundance. Once this is activated your body will lose water through urination and skin.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Sunday
Drink 32 oz every other hour until you get 2 gallons of water down again this can be spaced out however you like.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Monday
Drink 32 oz every other other hour until you get 2 gallons of water down again this can be spaced out however you like.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Tuesday
Drink 32 oz every 2-3 hours until you get 1.5 gallons of water down again this can be spaced out however you like.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Wednesday
Drink 32 oz every hour until you get 1 gallon of water down again this can be spaced out however you like.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Thursday
Drink 32 oz every 2-4 hours until you get 3/4 gallon of water down again this can be spaced out however you like.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process everyday until next Saturday.
Friday
Sip throughout the day sparingly a 1/4 gallon spaced out. Friday 5AM to Saturday 5AM is usually the 24 hour period you DO NOT eat or drink anything and only cut water as needed.
* Pick a water excretion process 1,2, or 3 and do that process until about 5AM Saturday morning. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ATTAINED DESIRED WEIGHT OR LOOK DO NOT DO NOT GO THROUGH ANOTHER WATER EXCRETION PROCESS AS IT WILL HURT YOUR PERFORMANCE AND REHYDRATION PERIOD!!!
Saturday at 5AM:
IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE WATER MANIPULATION STRATEGY YOU WILL HAVE LOST ABOUT 20-25 LBS FROM WATER.
Always give yourself a few hours before your event coming off a water cut to make any adjustments. Even if you were still over which you shouldn’t be at all but if so it should only be a pound or so and you can lose that in the sauna or steam room.
REHYDRATION PHASE:
Immediately after weigh in, shoot, or show your water is going to go to consuming mineral water. Now understand usually for a fight you have 24 hours. So immediately when you get off that scale your going to drink about 34 ounces of mineral water an hour for the first two hours into your 24 hours starting when you step off of that scale. After the first 2 hours drink 16 oz an hour up until you sleep because your body will most likely use all of that water at that rate. The reason for the specific water consumption is because your body will not absorb the water even in a dehydrated state more than a liter an hour and for your body to actually use that amount of water you have to be near or completely in a dehydrated state in which during that time period you are but the body does not absorb water as quick as it loses it so you have to be very accurate because you will collect subcutaneous water which is not useful for your fight, shoot, or show and will bloat you and make you sluggish. Make sure all of your meals are well salted using a natural sodium source in addition you dont have to stay in your caloric intake, introduce carbohydrates back in the diet but DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BINGING EITHER!!! YOU WILL END UP WITH STOMACH CRAMPS AND AN AWFUL PERFORMANCE KEEP YOUR MEALS 2-3 HOURS BUT YOUR FIRST ONE SHOULD CONTAIN THE MOST CARBS. RULE OF THUMB, NO FOOD OR DRINK 3 HOURS OUT FROM EVENT.
THIS IS THE MOST OPTIMAL WAY TO REHYDRATE PROPERLY.
