Inflammation

What is it?

Inflammation is actually very simple to understand. There are two types, chronic inflammation and acute inflammation.

The chronic form of inflammation is the most severe form because of it’s duration of onset. Usually with this type in most cases their is something the individual is doing unknowingly to cause such responses from the body. The best way to monitor this is to number one make sure your being evaluated by your primary health care physician. Number two, take certain things out of your diet, stressing dairy and all grains!!!!

In order for you to get the point of years of inflammation you had to contribute years of some action to get their.
(Please understand that years of inflammation will not dissipate over night but rather decline and minimize over a time period)

Solutions for Chronic Inflammation:

Instead of incorporating NSAIDS (Ibuprofen) first go with a more natural and simplistic option of Curcumin which is the active compound in Turmeric. I’ve always been very vocal about the ACTIVE ingredients of a product. It’s like saying if all you want is caffeine why drink coffee and you don’t like coffee or tea, just opt for the caffeine. When we talk about absorption rate of Curcumin it’s 100 to 1. The one is Piperine. Piperine magnifies the effect of the Curcumin absorption in the body. This is why it’s important to explain rather than just say “take a lot of turmeric for inflammation”.
Your dose should be tolerance related. Start small and stick to the smallest effective dose that works for you. I would recommend 1,000mg Curcumin to 10mcg Piperine twice a day and guage results from that point in addition to informing your doctor before consumption.

What is acute inflammation?

This form is your typical redness and swelling due to tissue damage or injury and the obvious should be cared for accordingly due to the particular injury.

Acute Inflammation  Solutions:

Normally swelling from tissue damage or injuries are treated the same way rest, ice, elevation, etc and in most cases ibuprofen or some sort of anti-inflammation medication because it’s usually short term.
Medication should be prescribed by your primary physician or doctor after necessary evaluation.
